Nov. 22nd, 2004 11:10 pmYou know, one of my favorite Patriots moments that doesn't include superbowls was that goalline stand in the Indy game last year.
It was one of those things - we blew a sizeable lead, they have the ball in what would be the last drive of the game. Touchdown wins it. They are first and goal on the 1. First and goal on the 1. That's pretty much over.
Yeah, unless you are the New England patriots. 1st down, they run. 2nd and 3rd, we stop them. 4th down, of course they are going for it. Field goal helps them none. Ok, valiant effort guys, but no one blows this.
Except the Cult, apparently. There's no question here, either, no may-or-may not robbing. We stopped them, again on a run. That's it, game over, we win.
*sighs* <3s for the Patriots.
I think John Madden is in love with Tom Brady or something.
