trying to rid you from my bones
Apr. 6th, 2006 10:08 pm6 songs meeeme:
Engine Driver - Decemberists
Here I Dreamt I was an Architect - Decemberists
99 Luft Balloons - Nena
Light of Some Kind - Ani
Phenomena - Yeah Yeah Yeahs (or like THIS WHOLE ALBUM)
Pride (in the name of love) - U2 (early morning, april 4)
It's not particularly going around right now, but I'm having a lot of "I must hear this song now" so it was a good time to do it. The Engine Driver thing is reaching almost excessive levels. Any time spent listening to 99 Luft Balloons is probably excessive, so that too.
School's been a bit crazy. My senior thesis is due in a week. Literally. A week. I cannot even comprehend this eventuality.
Also, I've given up on caring about French. Fini. No more. I'm incapable of completely not doing my homework and such but like, I just really could care less about studying and shit. It is the first to fall on the chopping block of senior slide. That class is painful to be in.
I think Neuro would have been first on the chopping block if Brotchie didn't let me knit. It helps me concentrate, ie, not be bored out of my mind to the point where I go completely ADD.
School is so painful. Like, senior slide, it's not this fun lazy thing. It's just PAIN and being worn down to the point where they've officially taken you for all you have.
So, other thing this week was managing to get myself to NYC. NYU does no stayovers, which is inconvienent as hell and made my mom be all, "nuuuu no staying by yourself" which made me very cranky. And pout for a night, and I rarely pout. But then yesterday my dad said he'd drive me down for Sunday. Craaazy. That is, he is, because he's flying to Dallas monday morning. Whatever. Now I get to go!
I really want to do a Simmons stayover but I have to find a good day school wise. Luckily transport for that is a piece of cake.
Ahhhh Mash is at CPW. I want to be doing prefrosh things!
