So, I made a new layout. I'm sort of still tweaking with the topbanner but whatever, I wanted some punditry up in this journal (there are so fewer pictures in this fandom than tv fandom, it makes my life harder).

I've been doing... not too much the last few days. Thursday I went to see the Killers, which was awesome. School happened. This morning, I was woken up at 10:30 by the upstairs neighbors, who I dislike strongly, playing piano. WTF. Pianos.

I think I'm going to start making a userinfo. People kind of would only know what I enjoy by looking at my icons, since I took all the interests off in one of those paranoid at LJ times. I forget which one. Anyway, as it stands I'm an enigma. An enigma with a lot of geeky icons.

I saw Slumdog Millionaire today. It was fantastic. This award season is kind of kicking ass, how am I going to get righteously angry?

Whew, I actually have a real layout. I'm probably going to continue doing some tweaking, but it actually exists at this point which is definitely an improvement. What's it been, two weeks? I suck.

Layout backstory being thus: It's Alicia Witt, I use her as my Lily Evans PB and I was making new icons for her when I came across this photoshoot. It's really pretty. The fact that I associate her with Lily is why I made the eyes green. The lyrics are Lilies by Noe Venable, semi-coincidentally.

Things that have happened:

1. I turned 20. Ugh, pretend that didn't happen.
2. California was fabulous. It's really nice out there. Sigh. I never thought I could do those really hot clims but it was actually alright.
3. Neil Gaiman did a talk at MIT and I went and it was amazing.

I had one of those days today, one of those days that starts wrong because of a dream and then continues wrong. But I feel a bit better now.

I need to keep remembering when I am having an off day that I have things to be upset about that are legitimate to be upset about and that it is allowed.

Wow, that LJ outage was pretty frightening actually. And I was at a football game most of today too.

Bad Michigan players, bad! I think they need to not to do that to me ever again.

But I finally finished this layout. I've been working on it for awhile. I still love Regina, but she's been there for a long time. A really long time. So here it is. Theme of layout is, "OMG I LOVE THE OFFICE AND THE DECEMBERISTS" which has been my mood for quite awhile.

I have nothing more to say.
