The school filter let up on livejournal! Or at least it hiccupped. This is awesome, because now I can actually post at school and have things to do on the computers at school. Because it used to be really lame without livejournal.

But yeah, so I hope this is an actual all over thing. I hadn't exactly tried in awhile.

So I'm seriously afraid I skipped something, because I feel like I have way too many frees. But I look and see that I haven't, so I guess I'm cool. Whatevs, yo.

So today, it's raining, which really sucks because I'm going to need to go Christmas shopping anyway and I have no time any other day this weekend. So soaking wet Harvard Square it is then! W00t W00t.

I guess it's alright, because it's not like my pants and shoes have dried from walking to school this morning anyway.

I'm afraid no one will go with me because they are sane. Oh well.

I really don't want to go to French.

VM owns my soul. THANKS FOR THE CLIFFHANGER! ARG!

So today was a half day. Thanksgiving day pep rally, which means I had to spend all of two hours in school. Wow, that was pointy. But yeah, then I escaped to the art room, which was LOCKED and DARK and we were cowering inside, fearing our lives.

Anyway, then we left school, unscathed, and went to Harvard Square. We ate at the Vietnamese place, which was good. Then we went to see Pride and Prejudice. It was pretty good, they went far to Wuthering Heights, as LInda said, with the whole thing though.

I feel like more happened! No, I guess it really didn't. We puttered extensively. We went to beadworks and saw the theater folk.

People who were involved:
Linda
Masha
Yasmin
Elizabeth
Jing
Iris
...umm there were probably more.

Anyway, that was lots of fun. I love non school days and things.

Happy Thanksgiving on the very soon to be Thanksgiving.

This debate thing? Amazing. Awesome. I love it. These two just completely wowed me, I love them both, Alan Alda is the funniest fake republican ever. Also, the liberal speech? Wow. Everyone should say this.

Only thing - the lines got blurred with reality and fiction, because MY Jed Bartlet wouldn't let all those stats and enron and such go on like the real ones do.

Yesterday, I went to Harvard Square with the people - Yasmin, Masha, Linda, Justine, Iris was there too. Twas most interesting, yes. But we saw a movie (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) which I found amusing.

Then, I went to see the play, which was lovely, of course. Everyone did a good job.

I have this overwhelming desire to go read all my Sailor Moon manga.

Damn college aps, I hate you for trying to make me all responsible like.

Yesterday was a good day. I went to Harvard Square with Sara and Jacob. I bought a skirt. I rarely buy clothes of my own accord.

I did a lot of random walking around. I think that the Harvard campus is designed so that only people who can get into Harvard have the ability to navigate it. Are all campuses that confusing? I hope not. I just kept going around in circles and circles and ending up at Hong Kong (the restaurant, not the city. That would be really confusing). Er, yeah.

Then I went to Linda's and watched Dial M for Murder and Psycho instead of going to the Halloween dance. I had been planning to take a shower when I got home. Yeah, that didn't happen.

Ok, so I had a pretty awesome day.

School was shortened, and I had a psych test and a math quiz, but I don't even really remember them now, it was a loooong time ago.

I worked some, too, and then I went to Sara's for a bit. Then, afterwards, Yasmin had a shindig in Harvard Square, which was fun. We talked like and then they all did their smart people math homework and me and Linda sang karaoke. Badly. Very badly.

THEN. I went to Sara's to watch Veronica Mars!

Spoiler cut for the LOOOOSERS who watched Lost instead or something. Pssh )

Today was a very exciting day.

But you know what wasn't exciting about it? 7:35 AM, CALLLLLLCUULUUS. Yeah. That will never not suck.

Um, actually, I don't remember much of the school day. Because after school is all that really matters.

Er, so I hung around a few hours with Yasmin and Masha, they were trying to Art and I was sitting there being very unproductive. But yeah, we played my ipod. That was nice.

I've had this song stuck in my head all day because my French teacher was reviewing nouns and kept saying, "Qu'est-ce que c'est?"

Ok, so after the art room, we went to Harvard Square. We were trying to get to Cardullo's because Linda and Masha needed Chocolate, but when we were trying to cross the street there was a world leader driving by in a motorcade. That was strange. Then Yasmin proclaimed it a strange day, which really set the tone.

We met up with Masha's friend, who is a Harvard freshman, and we went in her dorm, which is really really cool. Then we had to go home because neither Yasmin nor Masha's mom really knew where they were. Masha ended up getting caught :(. Um, so me and Linda and Yasmin went on the 74, and we were talking about colleges and they were on about, "blah blah Harvard blah blah MIT blah blah we are smartsmartsmart" And then the kids behind us started mocking us. It was really funny. Then we talked to them.

When we got off the bus, we walked by the school and the football game was going on, and everyone was all yelling so we stopped by and watched from the fence. There were a little under two minutes left, and we were down by one. Yeah, this was kind of amazing for us since we haven't won a game since I've been in school, and it was a big thing last year when we scored a touchdown. Eventually we had the ball, about to score with a minute or so left, and we were trying to run out the clock and Yasmin was freaking out, "OHNOESTHEYAREGOINGTORUNOUTOFTIME" (Sorry about that, Yasmin. She doesn't really speak like that, everyone). Yeah, it was funny, because I know football and no one else does. But no matter, because with much constrination and really silly play quality, WE WON.

YES.

MY SCHOOL ACTUALLY WON A FOOTBALL GAME.

Seriously, I know the last two years we were 0-22. I don't think we won freshman year either. We suck. This is momentous.

Yasmin pronounced it the weirdest day ever.

(oh, and there is something I'm supposed to remember about Sept. 16th. Anyone care to shed some light?)

SO.

TODAY.

I made it up at 9, okay, 9:30, and made it to school well before I needed to be there. Oh well, I'm awesome like that. Anyway, so since I was there early me and Sam Stuntz had to go around the whoooole school checking if the doors were open. Many were. Some weren't. But yeah, then by the time we came back, it was time to start the first tour. They had toooons of tour guides, so I had a really small group. Asian family. Dad, freshman daughter, younger brother, and like, dad's manslave or something. He just kept showing up. Anyway, I was really shitty at like, figuring out where to go without a lot of backtracking, but it ended up alright. They asked a lot of scheduling questions, which reminded me that yes, block scheduling is the most fucked up thing ever. Oh, except the scheduling system at the middle school, which NEVER WAS A GOOD IDEA EVER. Second group I had three families, and I actually figured out how to give a tour without walking around in circles and up and down stairs tons.

Oh, and I was almost late for the second tour because Yasmin was trying to look at pictures of Mischa Barton trying to convince me that she was anything but creepy looking.

Afterwards Yasmin and I went to meet LIIIIINDA WHO IS ON THE CONTINENT NOW in Harvard Square. We mulled around a bit. Then we were going to go back, but then Masha was coming so we stayed more.

On the bus, we were very loudly talking about Yasmin being a lesbian. Which she isn't. She says.

Then afterwards we went back to Linda's and they beaded and we watched "Triangle" on pirated-Chinese-X-files-Season-Six. It was still in English, the menus just did this thing where you would click on dreamland and it would go to triangle and Rain King special features went to the middle of Dreamland II.

That's pretty much it. Oh, and in Harvard Square, part of the entire expedition's point was to retrieve a copy of Oh No, the new OKgo album, which brings me to two points:
- If you haven't seen the dance for "A Million Ways", do so now. I HAVE THE BANDLOVE.
- Um, yes, LOOOOOVE

That is all.

So today I left the house at nooonish and didn't return until 9ish. Traversed along much. First I went to work which was boring but I left before my brain exploded from the Young Adult room.

Then I went to Jacob's. We are nearly done with Episode One! We still have no suitable name! Damn! Must stop thinking of that! But anyway, it's progressing along nicely and is FUN. Not much else to report there.

Then I didn't want to walk home so I hopped on the first bus I saw and went to Harvard Square. Well, technically I was waiting for Yasmin to call. But then I sat and read my summer reading, and then met up with Yasmin, despite the fact that she was tired. I forced her. Moo ha ha ha ha.

Then, when I was walking home from the bus, I was dancing down my street to Cibo Matto. It was SO FUN. If anyone saw me they would suppose I was drunk.

Oh, Jon, you are hot as shit bitching out Christopher Hitchens.

Oh, fuck, Christopher, don't try to pull the fucking Barbary Pirates on me. Asshole Republican at school tried to do that. Wanted to murder him. Still do.

SO THIS DAY.

During the day I did the lovely lot of nothing that I usually do. Couple redo threads open, which provided some amusement. Felt like an ass. Worked self into a funk for no reason (hark, PMS, is that you?). I get like this, it's inexplicable. When I get bored, it's like default setting, think about how you suck. Oh well, shouldn't think about that now, I'm better off waiting to be in a better mental state.

Whatever. Anyway, later on I went to Harvard Square with Yasmin... The guy who hit on us last week was there. We avoided him this time though, only going to the other end of Au Bon Pain. And the river, which is always fun. Not so many coxing folk this time though. Talked much. She lied to her mother about where she was. Standard visit, really.

Yasmin and I were on the River reading the Improper Bostonian... interesting. There was this article on pick up lines that amused us muchly. Because everyone really should know by now that the super corny ass ones will get you nowhere. I think. I hope there isn't anyone stupid enough to fall for that. Wait, there is always someone stupid enough to fall for anything.

Very interesting results to the sorting test. And btw, if you mistype results you get resluts. These are the things you need to know. Anyway, I have analyzed them, and by analyzed I mean looked at them.

My cat disappeared on me. It's worrying me, but she's sick and she hates thunderstorms, so I kind of understand why she wouldn't want to be around.

Today I did loooots.

I went to Anna's with Jacob and Sara and Laura and we ate Anna's. This was good. Then we went to Laura's house, invaded, and watched the Veronica Mars pilot (or, you know, pilet). So many things to pick up on, next time around. "I've got a secret, it's a good one," will never be the same.

In other news, despite the overabundance of the pottepuffs icons, I needed this one so much.

Then around 7 I went to Harvard Square. Ate some food. Looked at some jeans at the Gap. I think I found some that might work, which is surprising because I haven't been able to find any. But........ becca I think mentioned Gap jeans. So yeah. Then I sat outside of Cardullo's, with the NESN full TV, with all the old guys watching a couple innings of the game. I saw Trot get injured, but it seems like I left before the Clement thing. My god, I just saw the clip on Sportscenter. What a horrible thing to have happened. What a strange, strange game.

But I met up with Yasmin around 8ish. We got some ice cream (weird ass toscanini's flavors. Rosemary marmalade) and sat by Au Bon Pain and talked like whoa. Hours and hours. And then we got hit on by this sketchy guy. We were both pretty sketched, so we made polite enough conversation and then I made efforts to be all we should go. It was pretty weird, but I was more amused than Yasmin was.

whee.

OMG SHOOOOOOE! UPPPPPDATE!

Yesterday afternoon Sara came over, and we talked in our particular brand of crazy. Then last night I went to Harvard Square with Yasmin and Linda. Linda is now flyiiiiing somewhere between here and China. Much sadness. Anyway, we just went around, and the skirt I wanted DID NOT FIT and it was sad. We had dinner at an actual sitting down place... and I don't remember much. It was fun, however. Linda had to get expresso because she was going to stay up all night to get a 7 o clock flight.

Today I had to take my poor kitty to the vet. It's the oldest one, she has an abcess tooth or something and her face is all swollen. She has to get antibiotics to get rid of the swelling and then probably get a bunch of teeth pulled. Which costs crazy amounts of money. She was very good though, she didn't attack any doctors. The nurse was really nice. The doctor was kind of pissy, she got all mad when we asked if they could maybe clean her, because she hadn't been cleaning because of her mouth. She had BLOOD all over her, why wouldn't we want her clean? Doctor lady was all, "well, we aren't a groomers". Anyway, hopefully my kitty will get better....
