Oh man. Bill. Don't take your guns to town!

He never listens.

So since monday a lot happened, I'm pretty sure. There were lots of days.

Actually, I remember nothing until Mock Trial, so let's run with that.

So we really did well, I was all proud of the team. Our crosses were really good, I liked how I did, and Linda was amazing with both her cross and her closing. Yasmin's cross also went lovely, this is a point for later.

Liz kicked some lawyer ass, as always ("I'm sorry that we disagree on the definition of feasible"), and Anna was the bestest Fitzgerald ever.

The judge was strange. She'd act like every objection was really annoying her, or straining her brain or something. Plus, she totally had it in for Michael on the Swope direct. Like, she kept asking him to elaborate his qualifications when she had the curriculum vitae right in front of her. So she ended up just getting the Michael and Jon flustered and then marking them down for it.

The other team... was using a stopwatch, which was illegal, made up a rule about the witnesses talking, and had this awful witness that did this horrible head bob thing. Also, their Boyd tried to play actress with it (which you aren't really supposed to do) and is a really shitty actress.

They won. It was ridculous. The scoring was so off whack, I expected it to be close and it wasn't.

And today, I got a haircut. Yay!

After that I saw Walk the Line with my mom. It was really good. I'm in love with like all the movies I've seen recently. This makes me really happy.

Clearly my personality disorder does not have a name yet. I'm going for it to be named after me.
Kayleigh did a month by month recap of the year, that I will now steal, VMars spoilers in April:
January: According to my lj, all that happened was the football playoffs, me NOT doing my junior thesis, watching Firefly, changing my screename, and... wow, nothing. But at least Peyton Manning got his ass kicked by the Pats. Also, much mocking of Yasmin went on. Oh, and I got this computer.
February: Now here's some action. Pats win the supernowl, I fail the junior thesis, I see the world series trophy. Philosophy club watches Eternal Sunshine on Valentine's day, and I get assraped by cupid. I started watching Lost. Mock Trial PWNED. I started watching Veronica Mars.
March: the 2nd was the funniest "philosophy outing" ever, due to standing up on the T and "hey, remember that thing, over there?". The Luau happened. I was watching "Dead End" with Jacob and Sara. At the end of the month, Sam/Yasmin got together.
April: Sam and Yasmin were cuter than two nerds have the right to be. The Red Sox season started. Opening day - ring ceremony, the banners went up (I cried). I wrote the running diary of my day. I totally called Aaron Echolls killing Lilly Kane. I did the Day of Silence at school. Yasmin and I "studied for history" in the library. The NFL draft happened. There was that day when he wore glasses and it was really hot.
(Um, and to usher in May, Untouchable Face came on shuffle. Which is so weird, because I think it became THE song in May)
May: I took the SATs and the AP history test. VM finaled. I cut my hair. PROM. Manny hit his 400th home run. May 17th blew, because I was sad, and the bus didn't pick me up, which I am still mad about. Because I was sitting there, and it's like *drives by*. I turned 17. OMG SHOEBOX UPDATED. I forgot to lie in a game of "I never..."
June: History class movie! Junior year, the suckiest year ever, ended. I went to Dim Sum with the philosophy club. MAAATH RAAPPPPE. I went to WVA for a family reunion.
July: HBP CAME OUT AND I SAW TEGAN AND SARA. I got a cellphone. Shoebox updated. Wow, nothing happened. I emailed a lot with Yasmin and went to Harvard square quite a bit.
August: My cat died. I went to Star Island. I bought jeans. Shoebox was updated. I started thinking about things differently. I went to the beach.
September: Facebook came into my life. Sam was an asshole. I started SENIOR YEAR. The Pats season started. There was the Yasmin-proclaimed strangest day ever. I started watching House. OMG SERENITY CAME OUT. AND I MET BILL SIMMONS.
October: I applied to college. I listened to Rattle and Hum too much.
November: The Pats lost to the colts. I saw GoF and went to the art auction.
December: I stressed a lot. There was much english work. I yelled at Jacob. I failed a Neuro quiz. Christmas happened. My family came to my dad's house.

Awesome mock trial moment:

(Yasmin and Anna are drawing faces on clementine rinds)
Me: Linda, they are defacing our clementines.
Linda: But smiley faces! Actually, they are adding faces.

Anyway, this day sucked.

I actually don't have much more to say. Because this day sucked.

The conversations I'm having are far more interesting than math.

Mock Trial end of the year dinner thing was THE UBER FUN. REALLY. We had a blast, and I miss it already.

Tomorrow is a half day because of Good Friday. Which is good, because NO MATH! I have tons of work this weekend but oh well, I'm taking the night off.

Personal essay though >.> You have no idea how much I hate personal essays. The bane of my existence. That'll be Sunday at midnight....

Other than that, I have like, history, and math, and lots of shiiiiit.

I'm uber tired now. And I'm kinda getting allergy-y.

Today was a fine day. Had a last minute mock trial meeting and stacked up paper cups into interesting towers. And talked about the trial. But mostly the cup thing.

Eww, you know what is annoying? Ellipses. They are so awful. I drew 5000000000 of them yesterday. They are just ovals! God, why do math people have to mathize everything? Effing ovals.

If I had done homework earlier in the term, I wouldn't be in such a rut nowadays. But oh well. What's done is done.

I have to meet with guidance regarding stupid ass tests and things. Ew. SATs.

SO - Lots of days to catch up on.

We won our region in mock trial, which puts us in the tourney thing. Which is yay, because it's farther than we have ever gotten before. The coaches so shuffled up the roles in the most random way possible, and it's two days before the trial. That's kinda crazy. But we are protesting so all shall be well? We hopes.

I was feeling not so great, and then I checked hot_sports_men. Now I am very happy.

Eww, but there is this huuuuuge bug and it's really gross and I'm waiting for my cat to kill it. But she's kind of just playing with it.

Hehe, I love this one...

We won our mock trial today, which means we get to be in the second round of tie breakers. This time I refrained from having a nervous breakdown. I might've actually known what I was talking about, but who knows. It was fun at any rate, and I think maybe they were better, but last time we played this team (private school in our town. It's a pride thing), we should have won and they were really rude about it. We weren't rude though, they were a pretty nice team.

I watched the whole Spring Training game today. It was the yankees! What can I say. We lost, but oh well. Really, it's baseball.

(I realized how much I miss football though. So much. After the draft in April it's a whole lotta not much)>

PITCHERS. AND. CATCHERS.

For the....

WORLD CHAMPION BOSTON RED SOX

(best. phrase. ever.)

My shoes came in today! They are awesome and I love them. No, those are not my feet. But still. The shoes are the same.

We won our mock trial today. I totally had a nervous breakdown on the stand, but since I was the defendant it was in character, and everyone was commeding me on an acting job. It's handy when you are trying to act traumatised to be half-traumatised already. But there was this great moment when the prosecutor asked if I knew what FLEA stood for, and I said in the ditziest voice ever, "Umm, the Federation... for the Liberation.... and Equality for Animals." Ehh, I did pretty badly but I got the same score as everyone else on the team (8/10, except for my friend who got 9 because she's that awesome), so it all turned out okay. Then the coach was commeding us on the fact that everyone got the same score, and how much of a team effort it was (it was sounding like a pats press conference there at the end, one of those ones where they pretend they lost because they didn't play their best game. Unfortunately, not the best group for sports references).

Two of my friends had birthdays today. It's weird like that.

Ergh, I have this history essay to write, so I can't watch House of the Rising Sun because it is on the computer and the computer needs to be utilized for typing. Just. One. More. Day.

I'm so worried about Tedy Bruschi. Football is WAY too dangerous... I can't even think about what some players must have going on that we don't know about, and then something like this happens...
