Oh man. Bill. Don't take your guns to town!
He never listens.
So since monday a lot happened, I'm pretty sure. There were lots of days.
Actually, I remember nothing until Mock Trial, so let's run with that.
So we really did well, I was all proud of the team. Our crosses were really good, I liked how I did, and Linda was amazing with both her cross and her closing. Yasmin's cross also went lovely, this is a point for later.
Liz kicked some lawyer ass, as always ("I'm sorry that we disagree on the definition of feasible"), and Anna was the bestest Fitzgerald ever.
The judge was strange. She'd act like every objection was really annoying her, or straining her brain or something. Plus, she totally had it in for Michael on the Swope direct. Like, she kept asking him to elaborate his qualifications when she had the curriculum vitae right in front of her. So she ended up just getting the Michael and Jon flustered and then marking them down for it.
The other team... was using a stopwatch, which was illegal, made up a rule about the witnesses talking, and had this awful witness that did this horrible head bob thing. Also, their Boyd tried to play actress with it (which you aren't really supposed to do) and is a really shitty actress.
They won. It was ridculous. The scoring was so off whack, I expected it to be close and it wasn't.
And today, I got a haircut. Yay!
After that I saw Walk the Line with my mom. It was really good. I'm in love with like all the movies I've seen recently. This makes me really happy.
